Fallen - Framed Fine Art Photography Print | Richard H Knight

Fallen — Butchart Gardens, Vancouver Island, British Columbia

Maple leaves at peak color — crimson, amber, and gold — caught mid-fall and swept by a shallow stream across wet river stones. Captured in the gardens of Vancouver Island, this image finds something universal in a moment that lasts only days: the brief, vivid intensity of autumn before it dissolves. The flowing water blurs to silk around the leaves, holding them in place against the dark, rain-slicked rock.

The 4:3 format suits the density of the composition — there is no single focal point, only a field of color and texture that rewards close attention. At 40×30″, the individual leaves, the gleam of wet stone, and the subtle gradations between reds and golds become fully apparent.

Available in four gallery-quality configurations: as a Giclée Print on Metal — inkjet on Hahnemühle Fine Art Pearl paper in a 0.4″ gold art box frame — as a Print under Acrylic on Metal or Laminated Print on Metal — both color silver halide prints in a 1″ gold art box frame — or as an unframed Hahnemühle Fine Art Pearl Paper Giclée print for those who prefer to frame to their own specification.
